In this day and age I can?t sit in my studio painting an endangered species and not actively do something about assisting ?in the field? conservation. This will be the third release with Graffiti Prints that addresses how we support ?front line? species protection. I introduce to you, the Indian hog deer, an endangered species with fragmented and decreasing populations. The Hog Deer is threatened by hunting for bush meat, traditional medicine and trophy antlers. Habitat loss and degradation is due to damming, altered floodplains, flooding, farming and other human land use. We are supporting Aaranyak established 30 years ago, who work on species and biodiversity protection in North East India.
